DACH

Germany, Austria and Switzerland: precise, slow, and unforgiving of an unprepared entry.

Partner-ledDubai-based

In short

DACH businesses entering the Gulf and Gulf buyers acquiring in DACH share one failure mode: the timeline. German-speaking markets reward documentation, process discipline and patience; Gulf markets reward presence and relationship. Each side under-budgets the other's currency. We plan the entry or the integration around that gap rather than discovering it in month four.

What we do

Planning around the gap

  • Integration plans that carry consultation and works-council timelines as real dependencies, not risks
  • Entry plans for DACH businesses that put a person in the Gulf earlier than feels comfortable
  • Documentation standards that satisfy a German diligence process without stalling a Gulf transaction
  • Honest advice about when a DACH entry should be a partner rather than an entity
We currently publish in English only for DACH. German-language pages will follow when corridor pipeline justifies them — we would rather ship excellent English than machine-translated German.

FAQ

Frequently asked

Do you work in German?

Not yet in writing. We work in English and engage German-speaking local advisers per mandate for legal and regulated work. When the pipeline justifies a German-language practice we will build one properly rather than translate this site.

How much does a works council slow an integration?

Enough that it belongs in the plan as a dependency with a date, not in the risk register. Plans that treat consultation as a formality routinely lose a quarter.
