Keel Executive Circle — Leaders, Insights, Impact

Peer network

For leaders who bring something to the table.

A private executive circle for candid judgment, relevant relationships and decisions that continue beyond the room. 18 founding places across the UAE, the GCC and the India corridor.

In short

Keel Executive Circle is a closed peer network for operators across the UAE, the wider Gulf and the India corridor. The inaugural programme runs for twelve months and proposes 18 independent executive places, including up to four anchor roles. Members meet four times a year in a 90-minute working format built around one real decision, under a standing confidentiality rule. Executive places are by invitation and carry no personal membership fee for the first twelve months. Corporate partner nominees participate alongside the cohort under a separate partnership.

The room

What it is

Most executive networks sell access to a stage. This one is built around a table. The value is not the speaker; it is the other operators in the room agreeing to open their numbers because you opened yours.

Membership is deliberately small and deliberately mixed — a founder scaling past a hundred people, a regional MD of a European group, a family-business principal professionalising a second generation. What they share is a P&L they own.

  • A standing confidentiality rule, agreed in writing before the first session
  • Real figures on the table — not case studies, not anonymised composites
  • No vendors selling into the room, ever
  • Chatham House on the discussion, attribution on the data you choose to share
  • A partner in the room to chair, not to pitch
  • At least two-thirds of every working room independent of any partner

A circle with an operating purpose

Why belong

The Circle brings experienced leaders together around real business choices across the UAE, the GCC and the India corridor. Keel prepares the question, curates who is in the room and follows through afterwards.

Peer judgment

Test a difficult choice with people who carry comparable responsibility.

Relevant access

Ask for a specific connection, with context and agreement on both sides.

Operating intelligence

Short briefs and case discussions built around a decision that is live now.

A credible voice

Contribute expertise to selected interviews and publications, by invitation.

Continuity

Return to the action and to what actually changed after the conversation.

Corridor perspective

Gulf access and Indian operating capability in the same discussion.

Membership is participation in the Circle. Bespoke advisory, venture scouting, diligence and transaction work are scoped and charged separately.

Proposed inaugural membership

A small founding cohort

18 independent executive places, including up to four anchor roles. Corporate partner nominees participate alongside this cohort. The distinction is what you bring and what you take away, not what you are allowed to hear.

The member experience

Arrive with a question. Leave with a next move.

Under the Waterline is the Circle's 90-minute working format. Each session examines one real decision and the competing ways to act on it.

10 min
Case — define the choice
20 min
Responses — test two approaches
40 min
Dialogue — examine the trade-offs
20 min
Next moves — agree actions
  1. Seven days before

A two-page case brief, and one question for each participant. Bring an example, a useful introduction, or a view you can defend.

  2. In the room

Ninety minutes on one decision. Unrecorded, chaired by a partner, with prepared contributions taking priority over presentations.

  3. Ten working days after

An anonymised decision note captures the options and the agreed actions. Introductions proceed only with both parties' permission.

  4. Thirty days after

A short follow-up asks what progressed, and what would make the next conversation more useful.

The annual programme

Four gatherings, one year

Three private decision rooms and one funded showcase. The cycle begins at programme launch, and the quarters run from there rather than from the calendar.

Proposed sequence. Dates, venue, funded showcase scope and the roster are confirmed in the agreement.
  1. Q1 — Trust & market access

A private growth decision room. Choose a route into the UAE and the GCC: partner, distributor or owned presence. A relationship brief and two routes to test.

  2. Q2 — AI & human judgment

A private operating decision room. Decide what to automate, what to protect and who remains accountable. A decision note and a 30-day action check.

  3. Q3 — Partners & execution

An invitation-only solution showcase. Test a defined corporate challenge with selected operators and solution providers. Opt-in follow-ups; pilots scoped separately.

  4. Q4 — Distribution & durable growth

A private year-end decision room. Review access, delivery and partner choices that changed the operating result, then set the next priority agenda.

Trust, contribution, discretion

The room works because the compact holds

  1. Speak from experience

Share decisions and evidence, including what did not work. Prepared contributions take priority over presentations.

  2. Keep the conversation private

Working rooms are unrecorded. Insights may be anonymised; named attribution needs explicit permission.

  3. Make introductions consensual

A useful connection starts with a reason and agreement on both sides. Membership lists are not commercial inventory.

  4. Disclose relevant interests

Declare commercial conflicts before the discussion. No unsolicited pitching, and competitor-sensitive boundaries are respected.

  5. Use the place well

Confirm attendance, prepare, and follow through. Renewal reflects contribution, fit and capacity.

The working-room design keeps partner nominees at no more than one-third of attendance. Speaking and editorial roles are selected for relevance, never sold.

Joining the inaugural circle

Bring the decision you want to advance

A short conversation establishes whether the agenda, the peer group and the expected contribution actually fit. If they do not, we will say so.

  1. Introduce your context

Your current role, your markets, and one operating decision that matters now.

  2. Define your contribution

The experience, perspective or relationship you can bring to another leader.

  3. Agree the invitation

Keel confirms fit, available capacity, role, dates and your reserved gatherings.

  4. Prepare for the first room

Receive the case brief. Choose your profile visibility and contact-sharing preferences.

FAQ

Questions before you ask for a seat

Can I just buy a seat?

No. Every tier is by invitation, including the paid ones. We would rather leave a seat empty than put someone in the room who will not open their numbers.

Is there a membership fee?

Not for executive members in the inaugural year. The 18 independent places, including the four anchor roles, carry no personal membership fee for the first twelve months. The paid side of the programme is institutional: corporate partners fund the gatherings and nominate seats under a separate agreement.

What do I have to commit to?

Four gatherings across twelve months, a two-page brief read before each one, and a question you are willing to put on the table. Renewal reflects contribution, fit and capacity — not seniority and not spend.

Who sees what comes out of the room?

Members first, always. The working rooms are unrecorded. The decision note circulated afterwards is anonymised, and no member is identifiable outside the Circle without their written agreement.

Is this a sales channel for Keel?

The Circle is a revenue line in its own right and we are open about that. What it is not is a room where anyone — including us — pitches. A partner chairs; that is the whole of our role in the session.

What if my competitor is in the room?

We will tell you who is in the room before you commit, and you can decline. We do not seat direct competitors in the same cohort without both parties agreeing first.

Do corporate partners dominate the room?

They cannot. The working-room design keeps partner nominees at no more than one-third of attendance, so at least two-thirds of every room is independent of any partner. Sponsorship buys association and a defined relationship brief; it does not buy speaking time, editorial control or the attendee list.

Is the programme already running?

No. This is the inaugural twelve-month programme and the terms on this page are proposed launch terms. The roster is being developed, dates and venue are confirmed in the agreement, and we would rather say that plainly than imply a room that is already full.
